The use of herbal substances to prevent and treat this disease has been considered for various reasons, such as increasing the resistance of bacteria to antibiotics, high cost, and adverse effects of some chemicals used in dentistry. This study aimed to investigate the effect of Tanacetum balsamita L essential oil on Streptococcus mutans, Streptococcus salivarius, and Streptococcus sanguinis. Material and Method: In this study, the aerial part of the Tanacetum balsamita L plant was extracted by distillation with essential oil, the antimicrobial effect of essential oil in concentrations (12.5, 25, 50, and 100 µg / ml) was investigated. The diffusion disc method was used to evaluate the antimicrobial activity of essential oil. Results: According to the results, the essential oil in concentration of 100 µg/m had inhibitory effect on growth of streptococcus mutans, salivaris,and sanguis. This effect was better than Irsha mouth wash and somehow less than Chlorhexidine and Oral B mouth washes. This differ was not significant so the essential oil with concentration of 100 µg/ml had similar effect as Oral B and Chlorhexidine mouth washes. The positive effect was seen in the concentrations of 25 and 50 µg/ml but it was not considerable comparing to control groups. There was no effect in 12.5 µg/ml concentration. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, it is suggested to prepare mouth washes containing the concentration of 100 µg/ml of the essential oil Tanacetum balsamita L. to evaluate the antimicrobial effects in more in othe in vitro and in vivo studies. Group A was prepared with Joy Taper and group B was Prepared with Bio Race .According to manufactures protocol .pre and post Instrument image was Recorded .Image Were reconstruction and cross sections Corresponding to distance 1,3,7 mm from The anatomic apex were selected for Analysis by Gambill. Statistical analysis was performed With T-test and Repeated Measure ANOVA . RESULT: There was no significant different between the two groups of Joy Taper And Bio Race systems in maintaining the canal centralization P=0.930 and canal Transportation P=0.190, but significantly only in the 7mm control of the Bio Race system,it Was better in centering ability P=0.048  , also in each group at different sections of coronal , Mid and apical there was no significant difference . CONCLUSION:Our findings showed that Joy Taper and Bio Race having the same Result in transportation and centring ability. Materials and methods: In this in vitro study 10 disk shape samples of each two  nanohybride composit es   DBl XL( IPS Empress Direct,Ivoclar Vivadent, Schaan, Liechtenstein)  and Ebl L( IPS Empress Direct,Ivoclar Vivadent, Schaan, Liechtenstein    in same size werefabricated.The primary color assessment was done by spectrophotometer matched which CIEI*a*b.Samples were done by the 10000 cycles of aging process which was equal to 1 clinical year. and then had the final test with her spectrometer. The results were evaluated with one way Anova. Results: the color change wasn’t perceptible( p=0.136)   ,while the difference in a* parameter between composites was perceptible and DBI was more than EBI.( p=0.000) The differences of b and ΔE parametres were not significant for two evaluated composites (p=0.377 and 0.136, respectively)   Conclusion: .The color change of bleached shade enamel and dentin resin composites after aging was acceptable clinically. One of the most important causes of failure of transplants and surgical procedures is the invasion of bacteria at the site of the complication and the development of severe infection. The purpose of this study, which was carried out at the Faculty of New Sciences and Technologies, University of Tehran at 2017-2019, Antibacterial Properties of Porous Scaffolds Made of Gelatin, Calcium Phosphate Zeolite with Loading of Clindamycin. Material and methods: In this study, freeze-drying was made from a combination of gelatin, calcium phosphate, and natural zeolite of bone tissue scaffolds and then the drug was loaded with different amounts of clindamycin. The surface of the scaffold was examined by scanning electron microscopy and antibacterial test and drug release test were performed on the scaffold. Results: The results showed that the aforementioned composite scaffold did not induce growth inhibition in the antibacterial test, However, after loading the drug on the scaffold with a concentration of 0.01 drug, the growth zone was 2 and 4 mm in diameter for Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus, respectively. The purpose of this study was to determine the prescribing patterns of drug among Yazd dentists. Materials and Methods: In this cross-sectional descriptive study, 500 prescriptions of dentists were evaluated by systemic random sampling. Each prescription was assessed on the basis prescriber gender and degree, the number of prescribed drugs, drug name and form, the readability of prescription, the spelling and dose of prescription drugs, the method of use, the number of prescribed drugs and interference between drugs. Data analysis was performed by using chi-square test. Results: The average of drugs per prescription was 2.7, the most common drug forms were capsule (33.4%) and tablet (26.1%) and the most frequently prescribed drugs were amoxicillin (21%) and ibuprofen (15.8%); also 59.2% of prescriptions had no errors. This study aimed to investigate the barriers to students' oral health with Down syndrome from the perspective of their mothers. Method & Material : In this qualitative study, in order to explain the barriers in promoting the oral health of students with Down syndrome from the perspective of their mothers, based on goal-based sampling, 21 semi-structured individual interviews were conducted to analyze the content of the interview. We analyzed interviews by Graneheimor and  Lundman qualitative approaches. Result: According to mothers' experiences, their children's disorders can be an obstacle to achieving good oral health. From the data analysis, the three main themes are "the effects of general health status, the effects of instruction and learning, problems in receiving dental health care services." Moreover, six sub-themes were extracted: "General Health, Oral and Dental malformations, Mother learning, learning of people with Down syndrome, Problems with Down Syndrome People, and Service receiving problems.” Conclusions: Given that these children's illness is an essential obstacle to receiving dental services, stakeholders in planning should pay special attention to providing dental services to these children. The aim of this study was to evaluate QOL in HNC patients suffering from xerostomia due to radiotherapy. Material and Methods: This Descriptive analytical study was performed on 44 HNC patients suffering from xerostomia experiencing radiotherapy for more than one week at the Azar 5th educational center during 1397-1398 In Gorgan. WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire was used for data collection. Data analysis was performed by calculating central indices and dispersion, and calculating Pearson linear correlation coefficient and using independent t-test. Significance level was 0.05 and SPSS-18 software were used for data analysis. Result: The participants include 26 (59.09%) male and 18 (40.91%) female. The mean quality of life and general health, social relations, mental health, physical health and environmental health on a scale of 100 were 54.82, 57.95, 53.78, 48.86 and 48.22, respectively. The highest score for QOL was for men and intermediate educated and the least for the illiterate people. Aging caused all components of the quality of life to decrease which was reported to be significant (p-value<0.05) expect in social relations component. Conclusion: Xerostomia due to radiotherapy reduces patient's quality of life. Dental injuries can affect the daily function of children, their quality of life and that of their parents. Health educators are the first to come into contact with children when an accident occurs in these places, and their knowledge and practice of how to deal with these injuries plays an important role in prevention and treatment. Due to the lack of accurate information about the level of knowledge and practice of health educators in Sari, in this study we assessed the level of knowledge and practice of health educators in Sari schools. Material and Methods: In this descriptive cross-sectional study, health educators in Sari schools were surveyed in census method. Data were collected by a questionnaire related to knowledges and practive in contact to dental injuries. SPSS 18 software was used for statistical evaluation of information. Result: Among the 37 health educators studied, the average score of instructors was 58.94% and there was no significant difference between the knowledge of health educators and age and experience and history of training (P 0.97, 0.43 and 0.57, respectively). The mean score of instructors' knowledge and performance showed a significant difference between the variable levels of education and work experience. These glass are especially used as bone repair materials because of their properties such as biodegradability and bioactivity, so they seem to be successful in orthopedic and dental surgery. Material and Methods: Acoording to this review, articles were searched using the keywords in Science direct, Google Scholar, PubMed, and Silivica databases between year 2006-2018, and 35 most related articles were choose. Results: According to studies, bioactive glass can perform specific biological activities after implantation. Due to the amount of ions released by the dissolution of these nano materials, they can be used for bone repair and dental problems. Although hypersensitivity reactions to local anesthetic drugs are rare,but they are more common in dental cartridge components. This study reports a rare case of hypersensitivity to components of local anesthesia cartridge. Case Report: A 61-year-old female patient referred to The Medical Council to complain the dentist about pigmentation appeared around the eyes and lips. The patient had no history of systemic disease or food and medication allergy, and a year before complaint, had referred to dentist for anterior and premolar teeth extraction. About an hour later, black macules and patches with ill-defined borders appeared in peri-orbit and peri-oral areas. By further examination, hypersensitivity reaction to the local anesthetic cartridge was reported as the most likely diagnosis. Conclusion: This case states the importance of differentiating the lesion from other causes of pigmentation.
