In this research, all scientific output of dental faculties located in Tehran during 2011 to 2015 has been investigated using the scientific survey method and all core papers in this field has been determined.<br> Material & Methods:<br> From scope perspective, the methodology that is using in this research is an analytical descriptive method which is a practical study with a scientific survey approach. Statistical society of this study comprise of academic staff, all document and scientific outputs of educational groups and dental colleges in Tehran as Tehran university, Shahid Beheshti and Shahed universities as well as dental college of Islamic Azad university.<br> Result:<br> Within reference of the document available in 3 data banks of &nbsp;ISC, ISI and Scopus, Shahid Beheshti dental college with 1137 certificates, Tehran University of Medical Science dental college with 1115 certificates, Azad university dental college with 553 and Shahed university with 226 certificates have rank of 1 to 4, respectively.<br> Conclusions:<br> With respect to the research result, it seems that the scientific output of all studied universities in Tehran had a reasonable ascending trend during 2011 to 2015.
