fa مقایسه ی اثر دهانشویه انار و دهانشویه کلرهگزیدین بر درمان پریودنتیت مزمن شدید Comparison of the effect of pomegranate mouthrinse and chlorohexidine mouthrinse on severe chronic periodontitis treatment پریو Perio مطالعه اصیل original article سابقه و هدف: اثرات مطلوب بسیاری از دهانشویه های گیاهی  به عنوان تکمیل کننده ی درمان رایج پریودنتال ثابت شده است. هدف این مطالعه نیز بررسی مقایسه ای اثر دهانشویه ی انار و دهانشویه کلرهگزیدین بر درمان پریودنتیت مزمن شدید بود. مواد و روش ها: این مطالعه، یک کارآزمایی بالینی تصادفی دو سو کور بود که در دانشگاه علوم پزشکی زاهدان بر روی 48 بیمار مبتلا به پریودنتیت مزمن شدید انجام شد. برای بیماران 4 گروه، دهانشویه ی پوست انار، دانه ی انار، کلرهگزیدین و پلاسبو تجویز شد. پارامترهای عمق پروب، شاخص لثه ای(MGI) و شاخص خونریزی(SBI) قبل از درمان جرم گیری و هفته 2 و ماه های 1 و 3 پس از جرم گیری تعیین و ثبت شد. داده ها با استفاده از آزمون آماری  ANOVAو T جفتی آنالیز شد. یافته ها: بر طبق نتایج این مطالعه، در تمام پارامترهای مورد بررسی قبل از جرم گیری و هفته ی دوم پس از آن تفاوت معناداری میان گروه ها مشاهده نشد. عمق پروب در ماه اول و سوم  پس از جرم گیری در گروه های دهانشویه ی انار و کلرهگزیدین نسبت به پلاسبو کاهش معنادار بیشتری داشت. (0/05>P). پارامترهای التهابی در ماه اول پس از جرم گیری در گروه کلرهگزیدین به طور معناداری کمتر از پلاسبو بود (0/05>P). همچنین در پارامترهای التهابی 3 ماه پس از جرم گیری تفاوت معناداری میان گروه ها مشاهده نشد. (0/05<P)  نتیجه گیری: براساس نتایج این مطالعه، دهانشویه ی انار می تواند جایگزینی مطلوب و بدون عوارض برای دهانشویه ی کلرهگزیدین در بیماران مبتلا پریودنتیت به عنوان درمان مکمل جرم گیری باشد.   <pre> Abstract Background and Aim: the beneficial effects of many herbal mouthrinses on the recovery of periodontal disease have been proven to complement conventional periodontal treatment.. The aim of this study was to compare the effect of pomegranate mouthrinse and chlorhexidine mouthrinse on the treatment of severe chronic periodontitis. Materials and Methods: This study was a randomized double-blind clinical trial conducted in 2020  at Zahedan University of Medical Sciences on 48 patients with severe chronic periodontitis. For patients in 4 groups, pomegranate peel, pomegranate seed, chlorhexidine mouthrinses and placebo were prescribed. Depth of probe,Modified gingival index (MGI) and bleeding index (BI) were determined and recorded before scaling and 2 weeks and 1 and 3 months after scaling. Data were analyzed using ANOVA and T-pair  statistical tests. Results: : There was no significant difference between the groups in all the studied parameters before scaling and second week after that(P> 0.05).Depth of probe decreased significantly in the first and third months after scaling in pomegranate and chlorhexidine mouthwashes than in placebo(P <0.05). Inflammatory parameters in the first month after scaling in the chlorhexidine group were significantly lower than in placebo (P <0.05).Also, no significant difference was observed between groups in inflammatory parameters 3 months after scaling(P> 0.05).
