تغییر رنگ دندان‌ در درمان ارتودنسی ثابت

سابقه و هدف: ظاهر دندان‌ها نقش کلیدی در تعاملات اجتماعی انسان ایفا می‌کند. تغییر رنگ دندان یکی از شایع‌ترین دلایل مراجعه بیماران به دندانپزشکی است. تغییر رنگ دندان معمولاً از نظر زیبایی  برای بیماران ناخوشایند است و تاثیر روانی منفی روی آنها دارد. درمان ارتودنسی، علیرغم مزایای شناخته شده‌اش، به‌عنوان یک  عامل خطر برای تغییر رنگ دندان، شامل تغییرات نامحسوس و از دست دادن شفافیت تا ضایعات لکه‌های سفید و قهوه‌ای رنگ، می‌باشد. این مطالعه مروری به بررسی اتیولوژی ایجاد تغییر رنگ در دندان‌ها پس از درمان ارتودنسی ثابت و همچنین شرح تکنیک‌های مختلف درمانی آن می‌پردازد.
 مواد و روش ها: طی این مطالعه مروری، مقالات چاپ شده در پایگاه‌های معتبر از جمله Pubmed/Medline، Scopus، و Web of science بدون محدودیت زمانی تا سال 2024 بررسی شدند. جست‌وجوی مقالات با استفاده از کلمات کلیدی Teeth discoloration و  fixed orthodonticsانجام گرفت. در ابتدا 153 مقاله خورد بررسی قرار گرفتند که از این بین 31 مقاله به دلیل تشابه و 96 مقاله به دلیل عدم تطابق با موضوع حذف شدند. چکیده سایر مقالات مورد بررسی قرار گرفت و در نهایت 14 مقاله وارد پژوهش شدند.
نتیجه­گیری: تغییر رنگ دندان پس از درمان ارتودنسی ماهیت چند عاملی دارد و عوامل اتیولوژیک مختلف می توانند به طور مستقیم یا غیرمستقیم ایجاد آن تأثیر بگذارند. فرآیند دباند شدن، نوع سیستم ادهزیو، تکنیک‌های فینیش و پالیش، و نوع براکت‌های مورد استفاده از عوامل موثر در ایجاد تغییر رنگ هستند. دندانپزشکان باید ابتدا دلیل تغییر رنگ را تشخیص دهند تا به بیمار در مورد علت آن آموزش داده و تکنیک‌های مدیریتی مناسب را اتخاذ کنند.
