fa بررسی تأ ثیر خمیردندان و دهانشویه orthokin برشاخص های پریودنتال بیماران تحت درمان ارتودنسی ثابت پریو Perio مطالعه اصیل original article خلاصه: سابقه و هدف : تأثیر مثبت کلرهگزیدین بر شاخصهای پریودنتال در بسیاری از مطالعات به اثبات رسیده است،اما ایجاد رنگدانه توسط این ماده،مانع از استفاده طولانی مدت آن می گردد.در نتیجه در این تحقیق،سعی شده است تا به بررسی تأثیر کلرهگزیدین باغلظت پایین بر شاخصهای پریودنتال و میزان stain در بیماران تحت درمان ارتودنسی ثابت پرداخته شود. مواد و روشها :این مطالعه به صورت single blind randomized clinical trial بر روی 20 بیمار تحت درمان ارتودنسی ثابت در رده سنی 30-14 سال انجام شد.به گروه اول دهانشویه ارتوکین 06/0% chx و به گروه دوم خمیردندان ارتوکین 08/0% chx داده شد.در این تحقیق 3 ماهه پس از wash out 3 هفته ای بین دو مرحله، جای گروهها به صورتover cross تعویض شد. جهت بررسی اماری متغیرهای ) plaque index (SI),Gingival index(GI),(PI Stain indexدر داخل گروهها از آزمون Wilcoxon sign Rank test و بین گروهها از آزمون Mann-Whitney test و جهت بررسی آماری متغیر(Gingival Bleeding index(GBI، در داخل گروهها از آزمون Paired T-test و بین گروهها از آزمون Independent T-test استفاده شد. یافته ها:کاهش معنادار GIوGBI نسبت به Baseline در هر دو مرحله مشاهده شد(0.005> P).در مورد شاخص PI،در مرحله اول کاهش معناداری نسبت به Baseline1 در هر دو گروه وجودداشت (005/0>P). در مورد شاخص SI، در مرحله دوم، هر دو ماده به صورت معناداری موجب افزایش stain شدند. (005/0> P). نتیجه گیری: به نظر میرسد،محصولات ارتوکین حاوی کلرهگزیدین با غلظت پایین ،نقش مؤثری بر کاهش GI،GBI،PI در بیماران تحت درمان ارتودنسی ثابت دارند.اما در مورد تأثیر این مواد بر ایجاد stain، مطالعاتی با حجم نمونه بیشتر پیشنهاد می شود. <div style="text-align: center;"> <p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt; text-align: left; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: times new roman;"><b><span b="" lang="EN" new="" style="color: rgb(34, 34, 34);" times="">Background & Aim:</span></b><span b="" lang="EN" new="" style="color: rgb(34, 34, 34);" times=""> </span><span b="" new="" style="color: black;" times="">Although it is shown that&nbsp;chlorhexidine&nbsp;can have a positive effect on periodontal indices, the resulting stains, prevent it to be prescribed for long term use. Therefore, we studied the effect of low concentration&nbsp;chlorhexidine&nbsp;on the periodontal indices and the level of staining in orthodontic patients.</span></span></span></p> <p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt; text-align: left; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: times new roman;"><b><span b="" lang="EN" new="" style="color: rgb(34, 34, 34);" times="">Methods & materials:</span></b><span b="" lang="EN" new="" style="color: rgb(34, 34, 34);" times=""> </span><span b="" new="" style="color: black;" times="">This study was conducted in a single blind randomized clinical trial with 20 patients (aged 14-30) undergoing fixed orthodontic treatment. Subjects were divided into two groups of 10, with group 1 on the Orthokin 0.06% chx mouthwash, and group 2 on the Orthokin 0.08% chx mouthwash</span><span b="" dir="RTL" lang="AR-SA" new="" style="color: black;" times="">.</span><span b="" new="" style="color: black;" times="">This three month study was divided into two phases</span><span b="" dir="RTL" lang="AR-SA" new="" style="color: black;" times="">.</span><span b="" new="" style="color: black;" times="">In each session, PI, GBI, GI and SI indices were measured</span><span b="" dir="RTL" lang="AR-SA" new="" style="color: black;" times="">.</span><span b="" new="" style="color: black;" times=""> The cross over between the groups took place after 3 weeks wash out. Wilcoxon sign Rank test, Mann-Whitney test, Paired T-test and Independent T-test were performed for statistical analyzing.</span></span></span></p> <p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt; text-align: left; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: times new roman;"><b><span b="" new="" style="color: black;" times="">Result:</span></b><span b="" new="" style="color: black;" times="">&nbsp;A significant decrease in both GI and GBI compared to baseline was observed in both phases. (p<0.005) In case of PI, in phase I, a significant decrease compared to baseline was observed in both groups. (p<0.005) In case of SI</span><span b="" dir="RTL" lang="AR-SA" new="" style="color: black;" times="">،</span><span b="" new="" style="color: black;" times="">&nbsp;In phase II, both products showed a significant increase in staining (p<0.005). </span></span></span></p> <p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt; text-align: left; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: times new roman;"><b><span b="" new="" style="color: black;" times="">Conclusion: </span></b><span b="" new="" style="color: black;" times="">The results of this study suggest that Orthokin oral health products with low concentration of chlorhexidine play an important role in reducing PI, GI and GBI indicators in patients undergoing fixed orthodontic treatment.
