fa ارزیابی کیفیت زندگی مرتبط با سلامت دهان در کودکان 12-6 سال با اختلال بینایی در مراکز تحت پوشش بهزیستی شهر یزد در سال 1405 دندانپزشکی کودکان Pediatrics مطالعه اصیل original article <a name="_Toc228770032"></a><a name="_Toc235602367">چکیده:</a> سابقه و هدف: کودکان دارای اختلال بینایی ممکن است به‌دلیل محدودیت‌های حسی و رفتاری، با خطر بیشتر پوسیدگی دندانی و چالش‌هایی در کیفیت زندگی مرتبط با سلامت دهان مواجه باشند. مطالعه حاضر با هدف ارزیابی کیفیت زندگی مرتبط با سلامت دهان در کودکان با اختلال بینایی انجام شد. مواد و روش ها: این مطالعه توصیفی-مقطعی، بر روی کودکان6 تا12ساله نابینا و کم بینای مشغول به تحصیل در مدارس ویژه نابینایان شهر یزد در سال1405که به روش سرشماری انتخاب شدند، انجام گردید. پرسشنامه  ECOHIS جهت ارزیابی کیفیت زندگی وابسته به سلامت دهان و دندان کودکان توسط والدین در منزل تکمیل گردیدند. دادهها با استفاده از نرمافزار آماری‌ SPSS26آزمونهای آماریMann–Whitney و Spearman's rho آنالیز شدند. یافته ها: در این مطالعه والدین 19دختر و 19 پسر دارای اختلال بینایی شرکت نمودند. 28 کودک (7/73%)کم بینا و10کودک (3/26%) نابینا بودند و اختلال بینایی50درصد کودکان ارثی بود. بر اساس گزارش والدین50% کودکان دارای دندان پوسیده، 4/47% دارای دندان ترمیم‌شده و 8/65% دارای سابقه مراجعه به دندانپزشک بودند. میانگین نمره کیفیت زندگی مرتبط با سلامت دهان بر اساس پرسشنامهECOHIS برابر با 99/8±87/26 بود. از دیدگاه والدین، سلامت عمومی و سلامت دهان و دندان اکثر کودکان در حد «خوب» یا «متوسط» ارزیابی شد. بین نمره ECOHIS و سن، جنس، شدت اختلال بینایی و نوع اختلال بینایی ارتباط آماری معنی‌داری مشاهده نشد(05/0<P-value). نتیجه گیری: کیفیت زندگی مرتبط با سلامت دهان در کودکان دارای اختلال بینایی بیشتر از آنکه با ویژگی‌های دموگرافیک مرتبط باشد، تحت تأثیر پیامدهای ناشی از مشکلات سلامت دهان و دندان قرار دارد.   Abstract Background and Objective:Children with visual impairment may face a higher risk of dental caries and challenges in oral health-related quality of life(OHRQoL) due to sensory and behavioral limitations. This study aimed to assess OHRQoL among children with visual impairment. Materials and Methods:This descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted on6–12-year-old blind and visually impaired children attending special schools for children with visual impairment in Yazd in2026. The participants were selected using a census sampling method. The Early Childhood Oral Health Impact Scale(ECOHIS) questionnaire was completed by the parents at home to assess the children's oral health-related quality of life. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 26 and the Mann–Whitney U and Spearman's rho statistical tests. Results: The study included the parents of 19 girls and 19 boys with visual impairment. Of the children,28(73.7%) had low vision and 10(26.3%) were blind, and the visual impairment was hereditary in 50% of the children. According to parental reports,50% of the children had dental caries,47.4% had restored teeth, and 65.8% had a history of dental visits. The mean OHRQoL score based on the ECOHIS questionnaire was 26.87±8.99. According to parental assessments, the general health and oral health of most children were rated as “good” or “fair.” No statistically significant associations were found between the ECOHIS score and age, sex, severity of visual impairment, or type of visual impairment (P>0.05).
